Nigella Lawson's
groomed looks are momentarily ruined
...as gust of wind messes up her hair.
She's normally not got a single hair out of place as she keeps up her groomed looks. But Nigella Lawson looked dishevelled for once over the weekend, albeit as a result of a gust of wind which took hold and ruined her pristine get-up. The TV chef was spotted shopping for some more designer heels on Saturday afternoon as she made her way around London.
Dressed smartly in a suit jacket and grey skirt combo, Nigella had made an effort with her ensemble. She finished off the look with a large fur scarf around her neck and a black handbag over her shoulder. The 52-year-old was out and about ready to buy up some Louboutins to complete her pristine look even more.SPOILER (clicca per visualizzare)
But when she left the designer shop her immaculately groomed looks were ruined as she was met with the windy outdoors. Nigella's wavy dark locks flew into the air and became tangled as the breeze took hold, making her pull a face as she got used to the cold conditions after keeping warm in the store.
At one point she even steadied herself with a rail before making a quick exit away from the area carrying her purchases in a bag. She has been busy of late promoting her latest cookery book, Nigellissima. It was only on Wednesday that she showed up to a book signing in London to promote the tome.
This time looking far more coiffed safely inside and away from the elements, she stunned in a tight plum coloured dress to accentuate her curves. The domestic aid is a culmination of her favourite ever Italian recipes and coincides with her BBC Two show, also called Nigellissima.
One Canary Wharf worker was overjoyed to see Nigella at the mall and told the East London Advertiser: 'I love Nigella. It’s a dream come true to meet her in person.' Many of the recipes in Nigella's book have drawn criticism for the huge number of calories they contain. But, the television presenter has said that she finds fat an important of the diet. Speaking earlier this month at the Cheltenham Literature Festival, Nigella said:
'I’m a great believer in fat, I like any doughnut that’s going. 'I like anything in batter or that is deep fried. My view is that you moisturise from the inside.' Nigella added that she had tried a fried Mars bar, and even came up with her own recipe for a deep fried Bounty bar, revealing: 'I have not only had a deep fried Mars Bar, I have also done a recipe for deep fried Bounty. Very delicious. Typically tropical.'.
