Sharni Vinson sparked fears for her health last week as she appeared looking seriously skinny on the beach in Australia.
With her svelte body on show, the former Step Up 3D star laughed and smiled as she jumped around in the surf at Cronulla Beach in New South Wales. But fans of the star took to Twitter worrying about the star's weight, with one saying: 'Sharni shocks with super slim figure.'
Speaking about her physique, the star said: 'I've always been a very naturally slim girl. If I was the way I was perceived, I would not physically be able to do what I do.' The Australian actress spoke to Heat magazine about the pictures of her in the surf, telling them criticism about her weight was laughable because she was just 'sitting on my a*** doing nothing' as they were taken. In fact, the star went one further and claimed she'd eaten a burger and drinking banana milkshakes every day for three weeks prior to the photos. When asked if she was eating proper meals, the star said: 'Yes. You couldn't have a schedule like I do if you didn't. You would actually faint.'
The magazine reports that the 33-year-old actress 'doesn't go to the gym and instead walks on the beach and enjoys a diet of burgers.' In the pictures from last week, the star kept her shirt on as she waded into the water and quickly ran back to shore when a wave threatened to splash her carefully put-together ensemble. The actress, who has made headlines for her painfully thin frame in recent months, looked incredibly lean in her tiny two-piece. Sharni Vinson is currently back in her hometown visiting friends and family after relocating to Los Angeles several years ago to purse her acting in the US. The star, who played Cassie Turner in the Aussie soap Home And Away, is understood to be single following her split from Twilight actor Kellan Lutz last year. (He was recently linked to Miley Cyrus.)
The former couple first got together in September 2011 after meeting at a 'chemistry reading' for film Step Up 3D.
